Automation Tools & Technologies

  • Playwright – UI automation, cross-browser testing, fixtures, assertions, Page Object Model (POM), tracing, screenshots, and reporting.
  • Selenium WebDriver – experience with web automation is an added advantage.
  • API Automation – Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
  • JavaScript / TypeScript – scripting for Playwright automation.
  • CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Version Control – Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket.
  • Test Management & Defect Tracking – Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar.
  • Performance Testing – JMeter or similar tools is an advantage.
  • BDD Frameworks – Cucumber or similar frameworks is an advantage.
  • Database Testing – SQL-based validation and backend data verification.

Updated Key Skills

Must Have:
  • 4–6 years of QA/testing experience
  • Strong Backend & API Testing
  • Hands-on Playwright automation
  • Good JavaScript/TypeScript
  • API testing using Postman/Newman or REST Assured
  • Good SQL
  • Experience with Jira and Git
  • Understanding of CI/CD automation
